BIO

Rick is a screenwriter, poet, and critic who publishes poetry, fiction, nonfiction, book and film reviews, and gives regular performances of his work.

Rick earned a MFA from the University of California, Riverside where he screenwriting and poetry.

Rick is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education in English Language Arts, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and a Master of Arts in English.

Rick serves as poetry editor for The Coachella Review, and  serves as staff writer and poetry reviewer for Coldfront Mag.

Rick and his wife, Kina, have two sons, Brock and Kehler.
